K.R. Mullins’ work has appeared widely in print and online journals such as New England Review, Gulf Coast, Brevity, Baltimore Review, F(r)riction, and others. She has been featured on NPR’s Prosody and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is the fiction editor of Phoebe. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she currently lives in Washington, D.C. where she is at work on a novel.

In addition to writing, K. R. Mullins is also an avid knitter and has a particular interest in creating temperature-based pieces as a means to represent and track climate change.
